What this site collects
If you fill in the enquiry form, we receive what you typed: your name, your phone number or email, your city if you gave it, and your message. That is stored on this website and emailed to us. Nothing else on the site asks you for personal information.
Your web server request — IP address, browser, the page you asked for — is logged by the server as a normal part of serving the site. Those logs rotate and are used for troubleshooting and security, not for profiling.
What we use it for
To reply to you, and to carry out the work if you go ahead. Nothing else.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or exchange enquiry details. This site is not feeding a lead marketplace.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. The only external request a page makes is for the web font.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies. WordPress may set a session cookie if you log in to the admin area, which applies to us, not to visitors.
What we keep, and for how long
Enquiries stay on the site so we have a record of what was discussed. If you want yours deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Devices we install in your home
This is the part worth reading carefully, because it matters more than the website. Smart home devices made by other companies send data to those companies — cameras to their cloud, a voice assistant to whoever makes it. We will tell you which devices in your proposal do this and what each one sends, and where there is a local-only alternative we will offer it. Those companies privacy policies are theirs, not ours, and we cannot change them.
Asking us about your data
Email us and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. The contact address is on the contact page.
